Once again this week, we took another milestone, overtaking over two million of our residents who are now fully vaccinated. We cannot stop there, we must continue our momentum. The more people who shake the blow, the safer our condition will be for everyone. “

“Although Connecticut has been a national leader in immunization, we must continue to work to make sure everyone in our community is protected from serious illness, hospitalization and death caused by COVID-19,” Dr Deidre Gifford, acting commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Public Health, said. “We have seen a decrease in vaccination rates, especially among young adults, and we hope that Rock the Shot will give people an additional incentive to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones against COVID-19. “
